This is a highly desired role due to the fact head builders will be leading active build teams on various projects and builds required for the project as well as:

  • Create new player based lobbies, hubs and multiplayer communal areas.

  • Work to lead designated build teams to create and produce new maps and content for various areas of in-game gameplay.

  • Work with QA teams to make minor adjustments and patches to current or previously added content.

  • Help create schematic systems of variation to allow more in-game content to be created and produced faster.

  • Work with content creation teams to create schematics required for new randomly spawned structures & biomes.

  • Help create and plan out key points of interest, locations and widely used areas for various content.

Desired Traits

  • 5+ Years Building Experience

  • Experience working with Java Edition animated models, content and textures.

  • 1-2+ years experience managing a build based team or other leadership role.

  • High attention to detail

  • Ability to work in a fast paced and professional work environment

  • Vast knowledge of Gaming History & Gaming Culture (You Will Be Tested!)

Bonus Traits

  • Previous experience working with various tools such as Worldedit, VoxelSniper, etc.

  • Understanding of all Minecraft vanilla content (Both Pre & Post Flattening)

  • Understanding of Minecraft models including predicates, durability and blockstates.

  • Remote work experience

  • Ability to work with new blocks, models and other building content.
